Get To Know John Saccoccia

John was born and raised in Steubenville, Ohio. After high school, John attended Marshall University, where he was a member of The Thundering Herd Football Team. Following his time at Marshall, John attended and graduated from Muskingum College, where he earned his B.A. in Business and two varsity letters in football.

John’s professional career started in the insurance industry, working for a large single-line insurance carrier. While working full-time in the insurance industry, John attended Capital University Law School. After graduating from Capital University Law School, John was admitted to the Ohio Bar.

As an attorney, John worked for several firms, including a large estate-planning firm, where he was an equity partner. And in 2022, John launched The John Saccoccia Law Firm, which focuses on estate planning, elder law, and asset protection planning. In addition to his law degree, John is a licensed insurance agent and a member of Elder Counsel.

The son of a teacher, John loves educating families. Often, you can find him presenting at live events and speaking on podcasts and webinars on the importance of estate planning and asset protection planning. John is married to his wife Robin, and together, they have three children, Marisa, Geno, and Nicky.
